Red Dragon Fruit, also known as Pitahaya, Pitaya and many other names around the world, is a unique exotic fruit from the cactus family with bright white flesh mottled, small seeds and a thin red skin. In Agrotrader, we are growers, packers and exporters from the Ecuadorian coast. Our farm La Germania is located in Santa Ana, Manabí. We are proud to share the charms from our farm to the world.
Red Dragon Fruit grows on the Hylocereus cactus, whose beautiful flowers only open during the night. There are three main types of Dragon Fruit: Hylocereus undatus, Hylocereus costaricensis, Hylocereus megalanthus.

In Ecuador there are 850 hectares of Dragon Fruit cultivated around the province of Guayas, Morona Santiago, Manabí and Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas.
The exporter leader in World of Red Dragon Fruit is Vietnam. Nevertheless, ecuadorian products are considered as Premium in the international market.
